Welcome to my new album "Solace", recorded January through April 2023 using a Eurorack modular system, Elektron Syntakt and Digitakt and Ableton Live. It is a collection of drone-like sounds, arps and electronic beats. The addition of the Digitakt allowed me to add bit-crushed, slowed beats which is something I was looking for in previous releases but couldn't quite get. The Elektron machines are a joy to work with, and I find myself using my modular less and less, and if I do it just feeds the Digitakt.

The tracks range from strange and depressing to happy and bouncy, and reflect the stresses and strains I was under for the past months but also the happy moments and good things in life that still crop up with regularity.
